Beauty Hacks - Spotless Skin Naturally
at Home in Just 5 Minutes a Day
It doesn’t matter how old you are or where you live – if
you’re human, chances are you have to deal with the occasional blemish on your
skin from time to time. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to get spotless skin
naturally at home in just 5 minutes a day. In this article, I’ll share 10 of my
favourite techniques that have helped me look great without having to rely on
expensive or potentially harmful store-bought products.
Apple
Cider Vinegar
There are a lot of reasons to love apple cider vinegar. It's
great for your health, and it can also be used as a natural beauty product!
Apple cider vinegar is perfect for those who are looking for an all-natural way
to get rid of blemishes and achieve spotless skin. Here's how you can use it:
1. Mix one part apple cider vinegar with two parts water.
2. Apply the mixture to your face using a cotton ball or
pad.
3. Leave it on for five minutes, then rinse it off with cool
water.
4. Repeat this process every day until you see results.
5. For some people, it may take up to three weeks before
they notice any significant changes in their skin.
Keep in mind that
these changes will not happen overnight; patience is key when treating acne!
Honey
You can also add honey to your regular facial cleansing
routine by adding a teaspoon of honey to your favorite cleanser. Gently massage
onto wet skin, then rinse clean. Do this once or twice a week for smooth,
glowing skin. You may also want to try making your own face mask with
ingredients like oats, flaxseed meal, oatmeal, and yogurt.
These are soothing and healing and they contain vitamins
that nourish the skin. Simply mix the ingredients together until you have a
thick paste (or place them in a bowl one by one). Then apply to your face for
10-15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
For hydration use our pure olive oil which is great as an
overnight moisturizer and is packed with vitamin E which promotes cell renewal
as well as antioxidants that prevent signs of aging like wrinkles. For everyday
use it can be applied under makeup or mixed into your favorite lotion for all-over
moisture
Baking
Soda
1. Mix baking soda with water to form a paste.
2. Apply the paste to your face and massage it in for 2-3
minutes.
3. Rinse off with warm water and pat your face dry.
4. Do this every day for the best results.
5. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice or essential
oil to the paste for extra cleansing power.
Olive Oil
First, you need to find the right oil. We recommend using
organic, cold-pressed olive oil. It’s gentle enough for all skin types and is
loaded with antioxidants that fight free radicals (the main cause of wrinkles).
Simply massage the oil into your face and neck for two minutes each day. Doing
this will increase blood flow, which gives you a natural glow.
The oil also helps remove dirt and makeup so your skin stays
clean. Make sure not to use too much or it could clog pores. If you have
acne-prone skin, dilute the oil with water before applying it to your face. You
can also use diluted coconut oil instead of olive oil if desired.
Use these oils in
conjunction with an easy homemade recipe for spot-free skin: 1 tbsp apple cider
vinegar, 1 tbsp raw honey, and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix them together and store
them in a jar. Apply on your face after washing off the oil and leave on
overnight.
Lemon
Juice
You can use lemon juice to help lighten your skin by
applying it directly to dark spots with a cotton ball. Leave the lemon juice on
for at least five minutes before rinsing it off. You can also add lemon juice
to your face wash or moisturizer. For best results, use fresh lemon juice. You
can also store lemon juice in a dark, cool place for up to six months.
If you have
acne-prone skin, then do not leave the lemon juice on your face longer than two
minutes. For best results, avoid direct sunlight after applying the lemon juice
and rinse it off within five minutes of application. In addition, be sure to
apply sunscreen if you plan on being outdoors for an extended period of time.
Washing your face every night is essential to keeping it clean and free from
dirt and oil.
Wash your face with soap that is free from chemicals such as
fragrances or alcohol. Be sure to gently scrubbing the dead cells away while
avoiding too much pressure so as not to damage the surface of your skin. Apply
any leftover water left on your hands onto your neck and chest, which will work
wonders for hydration! Keep some oil-free lotion handy to give yourself a final
spritz before bedtime each night.
Sleep well knowing that you’ve done all you can do!
